JTC MHD ZE Vehicle and Infrastructure Incentive

Special Work and Focus Group Sign-Up

CALSTART and PNWER are conducting a study on behalf of the Washington State Legislature through the Joint Transportation Committee (JTC) to design a vehicle and infrastructure incentive program for medium- and heavy-duty zero emission vehicles and infrastructure in Washington State. This work began in August 2023, with a final report due to the Legislature by January 2, 2024.

Focus Groups will get the opportunity to review the draft incentive program developed by CALSTART, and provide opportunities to give direct feedback on the program design, implementation concerns, and other key questions.

Focus groups will meet one time for approximately 90 minutes either virtually via Zoom or in-person. In-person meetings will include approximately 6 – 10 participants. Virtual meetings may have a larger initial group, but will then be separated into breakout groups of 6 – 10 participants for moderated discussions designed to provide feedback.
